Our Team

Director - Monique Marzocchi BEd (EC)

Monique is an experienced and dynamic early childhood educator and leader, graduating from Edith Cowan University in 2017. 

In 2018, Monique won 'Educator of the Year' at the Early Childhood Awards in Darwin. Under Monique's leadership our Preschool program grew from 9 children to 45 children in three years. 

Monique was head hunted to a middle management position with the Department of Education in 2019 before returning to her beloved Clyde Fenton to pursue her passion of advocating for early years education and building up our Long Day Care service. 

Monique is currently studying a Master of Education.

Lead Educator - Jasmine Edwards BEd (EC)

Jasmine is a graduate early childhood teacher from Western Australia. She graduated with distinction from Edith Cowan University in 2018. 

Previously, Jasmine has worked in early childhood and is passionate about guiding children’s development through dramatic play. 

Jasmine is currently studying courses in trauma management and catering for children with additional needs.

Holly Hayes - Educator and OSHC Coordinator

Holly holds a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. She has recently moved from Darwin to Katherine with her partner. She is enjoying living close to school and working with preschool aged children. Holly has previously worked at a child care centre and has been praised for her warm connections with children and focus on quality.

Laketa Campbell - School Based Apprentice

Laketa is working towards a Certificate III in Education and Care while also studying Year 10 via distance education. Our fabulous apprentice is passionate about working with young children and has built very warm and positive relationships with our children. Laketa was born in Katherine and is enjoying coming to work each day and being a part of a team.

Soozie - Therapy Pet

Soozie is a good girl who graduated from puppy class and obedience school. She can 'sit, 'paw', kiss', 'lay down', 'stay' and 'come'. Soozie particularly enjoys the company of young children and loves to be petted and cuddled. Soozie comforts children when they are hurt, plays with children when they are in need of a friend and will the role of 'bad guy' or 'good guy' in a game of police and robbers!
