On Friday the 20th of September three 3/4 students from Clyde Fenton Primary School competed against other schools at Casuarina Street Primary School for the "Lego Mission to the Moon".

As part of the competition the three boys, Quinn, Frankie and Lethan, had to build a moon base where scientists would be working and a rocket to bring supplies for their moon base.

The boys successfully demonstrated how they used coding to make a space rover and were able to talk about the reasons why they made their design.

Their team, The Flying Doctor Moon, was given the "Journey Award", "Most Robust Base Award" and "Showmanship Award".

It was a fantastic day and they made our school proud!

Well done Quinn, Frankie and Lethan and fantastic work Miss Hutchinson!
